Based of an ancient carved relief in the British Museum, this pendant shows a Greek soldier, clad in armor and helmet, and armed with a spear.  The figure of a snake is seen, coiling around the end of the weapon.  The soldier and snake almost seem to glow in bright silver on the dark polished background.
