The young Trojan, Ganymede was said to be the most beautiful man in the world, so much so that Zeus, in the form of an eagle, brought him to Olympus to be his cupbearer.  He was the only one of Zeus's lovers to be granted immortaility and was set in the starts as the constelation Aquarius.  Since ancient times he has been depicted holding a chalice or, as seen here, pouring wine into the heavens.
